Printing Hints & Tips
The following hints and tips may be of use should you wish to print the map and walk description.
Maps
When printing the maps please bear in mind that these should not be used solely for navigation. You are strongly advised to also carry OS Explorer Map 268 - Nidderdale and use this in conjunction with the walk description. Clicking the print icon in the top left corner of the map will give you the option to print the map in portrait, landscape or automatic orientation (which will try and choose the best fit).
After selecting the orientation option a new window will open containing the map. For the new window you can then print the map using the standard print option from your web browser. Note that you may need to tweak the orientation and scaling to get the map to fit on one sheet.
Walk Descriptions
Beneath the map and located near to the "Download file for GPS" link there is a link to a page that contains the walk description, but without the map. This can be printed easily.
