Last run in 2019, The District Events Team are excited to invite you and your Scout troops & Explorer units to participate in TTT 2026, a thrilling expedition competition, in the heart of our District!
This event comprises three separate competitions to suit different age groups and abilities:
- Tohunga – An entry-level hiking weekend, perfect for younger Scouts who are just getting started on their hiking adventures, carrying their kit for the day. If you feel it is necessary, a group leader may accompany a Tohunga group. If this is the case, this team will become a non competitive team.
- Teko Teko – A more challenging competition for older Scouts, where participants will carry all their equipment for the entire weekend.
- Tahwiri – Tailored for Explorers, this builds on the Teko Teko challenge and offers an even greater experience.
The event will take place in Nidderdale on Saturday, 23 May and Sunday, 24 May 2026. The cost for the weekend is £45 per participant. More details on specific locations will follow closer to the time.
Teams must consist of between 4 and 7 people.
